If you are using Sky TV, Freesat or Virgin on all your TV sets you will not be affected by switchover.
If you are using Freeview / Top up or BT Vision via an Aerial you will require to re-tune your digibox or TV set again.
The next transmitter to start its digital switch in the Meridian area is Midhurst transmitter serving parts of West Sussex on the 29th February 2012
By the summer of 2012 the whole of the UK will have had their analogue TV signals turned off….but don’t panic, Digital TV is here!

Digital TV gives a much wider choice of channels and enables the viewer to enjoy sharper pictures and crisper sound and best of all anyone can easily receive it, you may even be ready for the switchover! If you are viewing Sky, Freesat, Freeview or Virgin at your main TV then you are already viewing digital and there is no need to worry. However, have you thought about the TV in your or your children’s bedroom, or maybe even your kitchen?
